Mission Statement

ICEFCU is a member-owned and controlled financial cooperative that is dedicated to providing the best possible financial services to meet our members needs. Our goal is to always provide these services in an efficient and friendly manner.

Field of Membership

ICEFCU was chartered in 1961 to serve those having the following common bond: Employees of the City of Irving, Texas; employees of the Irving Police Department; employees of the Irving Convention and Tourist Bureau; employees of the Irving City Council; employees of this credit union; persons retired as pensioners or annuitants from the above employment; members of their immediate families; and organizations of such persons.

In 2002 our field of membership was expanded to include the employees of the Irving Independent School District.

Once a member, a member may remain so for life, regardless of job change.

What is a Credit Union?

A Credit Union is a non-profit financial cooperative that exists solely to serve the financial needs of its membership. CU's offer many of the same types of services as other financial institutions, but because CU's are member-owned, the rates on services are generally more attractive than for profit institutions. As of 07/31/08 ICEFCU has over 4,000 members and $35 million in total assets.
